thank you for this article, it helped me awake my motivation for another coming day, full of writing. :)

The feeling you convey is very familiar to me — needles to say. So I enjoy hearing your voice, yet another one saying that “writers don’t have to starve”. We don’t have to create this drama about our work. I like to believe that there is space to make it all of us who really want to write. Reading what you wrote reminded me what I want to believe in!

Another important thing that you mention is the “writing tribe”. This is an element I am still missing, but it has been becoming clearer and clearer to me that it is crucial to surround myself with people who write and interact with them.
