Yes, sometimes a distraction simply indicates a need that we need to satisfy… like stretching or drinking some water! And I know what you mean with the feeling of guilt – I used to have it all the time and still sometimes do. But I realised that making myself feel guilty about my inability to focus was never helpful.
So, I’m trying to approach my pursuit to be productive with more kindness and self-compassion now. I hope you can do the same 😊
