Thank you Darcy! It means a lot to me that you shared you have some similar experiences. And it’s great that you’re working on your healing in your own ways! Writing about it is one way to do it but there are so many other possibilities. The first step is to admit it even to ourselves, I guess. Like, recognize that it’s natural to suffer from these sort of things and that it’s not our fault that they happened. This is at least what I tell myself.
