Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me Michael — I appreciate it a lot. I also journal often after meditation (particularly after and throughout that retreat) and I find it to be a gold mine for precious insight. It is amazing that you set aside some time for uninterrupted meditation each year — do you do it on your own, or do you usually sign up for retreats? For me, this first one silent retreat convinced me that I should do this kind of ‘reset’ once a year at least, for mental hygiene!
