This is insane! Although I can very well imagine a doctor like that. I have had quite a few medical appointments over the past year and much of what I experienced was some manifestation of the same thing: standardized treatment based on very little information about the patient.

Thank you so much Ben for sharing your and your Mum’s experiences. It makes me believe in people, as I can see that you are clearly taking charge of your health and it brings positive results — especially with your Mum, who probably took the best decision she could. I am more and more convinced that we can influence our lives to a much further extent than our cultural conditioning teaches us.

So much may be possible! We just need to go out and test it. I am training my own eyesight at the moment, to see what is possible for me.
