This must be the most insightful response I ever got on a Medium story, Bill. Thank you. I don’t know what else to say — I agree so much with everything you wrote and, at the same time, I need to take some time to fully take in your wisdom.

I am once again reliving the situation that prompted me to write this — and I am more and more able to say to myself that it’s ok. It’s ok that I felt this fear and that I run away. For, as you say, I was simply not grounded enough to be with it back then in a detached way. So that was the right thing to do.

I am gradually coming to terms with that. :)
